So if you've been reading my blog the title of this blog will probably surprise you because 1) I'm trying to be healthy, and 2) I could possibly be lactose intolerant or at least sensitive. I LOVE sugar.. How am I supposed to be healthy when I am so addicted to sugar? I have to find ways to feel like I'm having a treat without eating thousands of calories.
A week or so ago +Jimmy Ho and I bought some lactose free 2% chocolate milk. He's allergic to chocolate so this was all mine. I have been really scared to try it. Sounds scary right? Well, it might be. I haven't tried it by itself yet.. haha. But today, I was really craving something sweet. I decided I wanted a milkshake. What goes well with chocolate? Right.. everything. I thought I would throw a cup of the scary chocolate milk in with a cup of strawberries and about a cup of ice.
Holy craaaaaaaaap! It was amazing! I am in love with it. So the 1 cup of chocolate milk had 150 calories, and 1 cup of strawberries has about 52 calories. The milkshake it made was ginormous! So next time I should probably halve it. So for a ginormous delicious milkshake, I had 202 calories! Still not something I should do frequently, but it satisfied my craving, and I don't feel guilty about it.
Well tomorrow is my first day at Camp Gladiator. I'm kind of freaking out about it, but I'll survive. I'll post about how it goes! Have a great week!
